Thiago has been a true fighter this week. He is in critical condition due to his tiny size, but has done an amazing job. His heart rate, blood pressure, oxygen level and a list of other things that could have gone wrong have been above average. He got his first feed today – 1 cc of my breast milk (there are 5 cc’s in a teaspoon) – so we are really excited because this will make an extreme difference on his growth development.

He is almost 11 inches long and he has not been weighed yet due to being hooked up to an oxygen machine. He will most likely be weighed tonight. He was born at less than 1 pound. Also, he has upped his breast milk intake from 1cc to 2ccs.
