Thiago was a bit lethargic on Monday and just to be safe they ran some blood cultures and he was put on antibiotics. I spoke to the doctor today and he believes it was due to his low blood count and being put back on the ventilator. On a good note: Thiago gained 6 grams and is tolerating his feeds (11 cc's every three hours - a total of 24 calories!)
His head ultrasound came back normal and heart x-ray still shows the murmur hasn’t shrunk. We will continue to monitor, but not proceed with medication or surgery. He is back to his normal self – so I am really excited to go see him today. He is really cute – I wish I could take him everywhere with us.
David and I have so much to be thankful about this Thanksgiving.

Aixa and David. I've been praying for you and thinking about you constantly since I heard the news. Miriam told me about this blog yesterday. I'm so happy that everyone’s prayers are being answered. You look so happy in all of the pictures...that eases my tears. I know you're busy. I just wanted to let you know that the three of you are on my mind and in my heart. Looks like we have a new member in our Restaurant Club. :)
