Thiago's hand on David's Thumb - how cute!
Thiago has been with us for two weeks already and David just dared to touch him - he was a bit scared all this time that he would hurt him :) David can't stop thinking or talking about him - we constantly tell ourselves how excited we are to bring him home. I got a bit emotional today looking at baby boy catalog and once again wondering why this happened to us. Dr. Perez stopped by while we were visiting and told us how wonderful Thiago is doing and if everything keeps up the way they are they will take him off the respirator... although that doesn't sound too safe to me. Thiago had several visitors this weekend. Elsie, Mao (Thiago's cousin and his wife Anita), Jessica, Leah, her boyfriend Kevin and of course my mom and sis come every other day. Below is a one minute video of Thiago discovering and feeling the catheter in his head. He is so touchy they have had to sedate him almost everyday :(

I finally seen the cutie pie yesterday. He opened his eyes, andmoving his arms all around. I could have stared at him all day. I'm praying for the three of you and we (Rudy, Baby Rudi,Jessica and Tyger) LOVE YOU SO MUCH!!!!!

Aixa and David I'm so happy he is getting stronger and able to move around .;):) .. his little hands so tiny next to Davids fingers .
We continue to pray at the VA hospital we have service Mon and Wed.. and the pastor Prays for him by name :)..God Bless You and hope for continued health.
